Hello,

Some good news and some less fortunate:

I entered the Federation of Canadian Artists Central Okanagan Chapter Fall Show and was awarded an Honourable Mention for 'Quiet Reflections', my stainlesss steel teapot painting (top image).

In mid-September I had a total knee replacement which was long overdue after the wear and tear of a motorcycle accident many years ago, a ski injury and multiple falls, all inflicted on the left knee.  I am recovering now but it will take time and patience on my part.  For that reason I have left Picture This! Custom Framing and Gallery at this time to allow myself a stress free recuperation for as long as it takes.  If you spotted something in the gallery, feel free to contact me to make a purchase.

My neighbours and friends have been very generous in shuttling me to the hospital, appointments and taking on the role of grocery shopper.  For that I am very grateful.  I've been given the green light to drive again -- yeah"-- but I don't have great stamina, having lost almost 20 pounds now. My surgeon tells me I am doing remarkably well.  Each day I do my physio homework faithfully and pray for a full recovery.
