Pink Flowering Desert Cacti from Osoyoos

When we first moved to Osoyoos, British Columbia, we didn't know that we had moved to a Pocket Desert, once thought to be the most northern part of the Sonoran Desert. I spotted these blooms in their full glory last summer at the Health Centre in town. I felt privileged to see it, as the bloom is so very short-lived.
