The plumcot is, as you might suspect, a hybrid of an apricot and a plum, and to its distinction, it has an elongated heart shape. It was a perfect August day that I visited Sunset Orchard in Osoyoos and photographed this beautiful fruit. If the form of the fruit wasn't beautiful enough it was matched by the flavour, bite and succulence. Thank you, Irene, for the invitation.
8 X 8 X 1.5 inches (20 sq. cm. X 4 cm.) this plumcot is painted in acrylics on cradle board prepared to the highest standard. As the board is 1.5" deep there is no need to frame. Ready to hang all year long while you wait for next year's fresh produce. Shipping and handling will be extra.
