Why do I paint these teapots? It’s not just the form and shape, it’s about the daily rituals of life that give us peace and contentment. Each day I will try to stop my activities around 4 or 5 p.m. and I will prepare a pot of tea. Not just a cup because a pot will hold about 2 cups and I want that time of peace and contentment to last a little longer.
What are your rituals? Send me yours, maybe with a photo, and you might end up seeing it transformed into a painted image.
‘Look-Alikes’ 8 X 8 X 1.5” acrylic on deep cradle board—no need to frame.
