It was one of those 'What if?' moments that led me to painting this vignette. It was always a special treat growing up when my mother brought crumpets into the house. With buttered crumpets--well toasted--there was either honey or strawberry jam served, usually that cream honey but when I thought about painting a honey bear dispenser vs. cream honey there was no dispute. For your viewing pleasure and if, inclined, your purchasing pleasure.
This painting is currently showing at The ART GALLERY Osoyoos in their summer event.
