We spent January in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, a mecca for art lovers with its hundreds of galleries and glorious visual daily feasts for the eye. One of my favorite haunts there is the Ignacio Ramirez market with its flower stalls where one can choose from lilies, roses, tuber roses, Gerber daisies, babies breath, gladiolas, etc.. I bought two stalks of stargazer lilies which kept me entertained for a week, sketching them from different angles.
Acrylic on black gesso, canvas 18" X 24", framed in a simple black frame. Shipping and handling extra.
